The lessee will farm 229.50 acres at Pyramid State Park, East Conant Unit, in Perry County, Illinois, following a specified cropping plan for 2027-2031 that includes corn, soybeans, cover crops, and a food plot. The lessee must provide all necessary labor, machinery, tools, seed, fertilizer, equipment, and insurance. Specific requirements include prohibitions on neonicotinoid-treated soybean seed and Dicamba, mandatory cover crop planting on designated fields, soil testing, documentation of chemical and fertilizer applications, and leaving unharvested crop rows for wildlife. The lessee must guarantee lease payment annually by prepaying rent or providing an irrevocable letter of credit, and is responsible for all leasehold taxes.
