The Richard L Roudebush VA Medical Center has an immediate requirement to inspect and deep clean the internal coils and adjacent areas in six of the most critical air handling units (AHUs) servicing patient care areas of Building One at the Richard L Roudebush VA Medical Center.
The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, tools, equipment, and materials to inspect and deep clean the internal coils and adjacent areas in six specific AHUs (AHU-32, AHU-37A, AHU-37B, AHU-38, AHU-39, AHU-50) at the Richard L Roudebush VA Medical Center. Work includes obtaining pre- and post-cleaning digital differential pressure readings, documenting interior conditions with photos, removing loose debris, cleaning coils using an approved enzymatic or non-corrosive coil-cleaning product, replacing existing AHU filters, and properly disposing of wastewater and debris. Cleaning must be performed per NADCA Standards and in conformance with ACR standards. Only one AHU shall be removed from service at a time. The contractor must coordinate with the Site COR, comply with OSHA lockout/tagout requirements, and follow infection control and pre-construction risk assessment plans.
