Replace Water Heater and Boilers Out Buildings

The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, materials, and equipment to replace two (2) 40-gallon water heaters with one (1) 100-gallon water heater in Building 35, including removal of existing mixing valves and circulation pumps, supply and installation of the new water heater, upsizing mixing valves, installing a circulation pump, replacing exhaust vents, and modifying gas lines. In Building 46, the contractor shall replace three (3) boilers with new commercial boilers (brand-name or equal to Knight KBX0400N) meeting specified salient characteristics, supply and install three new boiler pumps, and replace all three boiler exhaust vent systems with Type B double wall vent piping. The contractor must conduct testing, provide documentation, and ensure all work complies with VA specifications, safety codes, and applicable regulations.
