This solicitation is for Building 246 HVAC Duct cleaning services at Goodfellow AFB, TX. The requirement will be solicited as a request for written quotation and evaluated under procedures of RFO Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services. This requirement is being solicited as 100% Small Business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 238220, Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors, with a Small Business Size Standard of $19 Million. The anticipated award date is on or about 01 Sept 2026. The period of performance for this requirement shall be 30 days after date of award. NOTICE TO OFFEROR(S)/SUPPLIER(S): Funds are presently available for this effort. The government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date for receipt of quotes/proposals. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs.
The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, and supplies to clean and decontaminate the HVAC air duct system in Building 246. Specific tasks include cleaning approximately 149 linear feet of supply ductwork, cleaning and decontaminating two return air ducts and plenums, two HVAC units, removing/cleaning/reinstalling eleven registers and grilles, removing/decontaminating/reinstalling two blower assemblies, cleaning two evaporator coils, applying EPA-registered anti-microbial treatments in two distribution plenums, and creating up to ten access points. Work must comply with UFGS 23 01 30.41 and NADCA standards. The contractor shall protect building materials, clean up daily, and conduct pre- and post-cleaning inspections with the government.
