HHSC PCS is seeking competitive bids to establish contract(s) for inspections, testing and as-needed repair services for fire alarm, sprinkler, suppression, backflow, sensitivity, and fire extinguisher systems located at San Angelo State Supported Living Center (SGSSLC). All services performed by Contractor must meet or exceed National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 1 Fire Code (2012 Edition) and all other applicable state Texas Administrative Code and NFPA Codes and Standards.
The contractor must perform inspections, testing, and as-needed repairs for fire alarm, sprinkler, suppression, backflow, sensitivity, and fire extinguisher systems at San Angelo State Supported Living Center. Services include annual, semi-annual, quarterly, and multi-year inspections of fire alarms, sprinklers, backflow preventers, hood suppression systems, smoke sensitivity, hydro and FDC connections, control panels, main drains and risers, batteries, load voltage, fire panel batteries, and portable fire extinguishers. All work must comply with NFPA codes and Texas Administrative Code. The contractor must provide a field supervisor, coordinate schedules with the facility, and submit detailed inspection reports within five business days. As-needed repairs require full warranty coverage for twelve months or the manufacturer warranty, whichever is greater.
