Per TGC 2269 and 437.054, the Texas Military Department is seeking bids to furnish all labor, supervision, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, permits, testing, certifications, and incidental work necessary to remove the existing GSA Class 3 vault door assembly and install a new GSA-approved Class 5-A vault door assembly at the Hondo Pass Readiness Center. This project is located at 9100 Gateway North Blvd., El Paso, TX, 79924. Vendors MUST attend one (1) of the two (2) MANDATORY site visits at 9100 Gateway North Blvd., El Paso, TX, 79924 at 10:00 A.M. MDT OR 1:00 P.M. MDT on August 5, 2026. Failure to attend one of the two (2) site visits will result in disqualification of the response. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, permits, testing, certifications, and incidental work necessary to remove the existing GSA Class 3 vault door assembly and install a new GSA-approved Class 5-A vault door assembly. The work includes demolition of the existing vault door, frame, threshold, locking hardware, anchors, and accessories; modifying the masonry opening as required; providing and installing a GSA-approved Class 5-A vault door, frame, threshold, locking system, day gate (if required), anchors, hardware, and accessories; providing and installing one FF-L-2937 or approved equal lock; and testing the completed installation to verify proper door alignment, smooth operation, locking functions, security operation, and complete manufacturer compliance. The Contractor shall field verify all existing dimensions and conditions prior to ordering materials or beginning demolition, and shall coordinate all work with the Owner due to the active military facility.
