The work includes, but is not limited to, providing all labor, equipment, and materials to construct tie-down pads for rotary-wing aircraft at Grayling Army Airfield (GAAF). This includes installing a new rotary-winged aircraft parking area with an asphalt taxi-lane approach and concrete parking pads and refueling areas, each concrete parking pad including mooring and static grounding points; installing an apron edge lighting system; installing airfield pavement markings; placing 4 inches of topsoil, seed, fertilizer, and mulch in all disturbed areas; and all related work as shown on the drawings and specifications. The contractor must also provide unit prices per linear foot to repaint existing pavement markings and per each location to repaint existing grounding rod markings.
