Madison Waterfowl Production Area Autotour Rehab

The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision required for the rehabilitation of the Autotour Route at Madison Waterfowl Production Area located in Madison, SD in Lake County. The work includes crack sealing and patching of the 1.14-mile, 18-foot-wide auto tour road (Route 011) with a surface area of 12,038 SY. Specific treatments include crack sealant installation, patching, tack coat application, chip seal, scrub seal, surface overlay (equivalent to SealBest 1000 with a minimum 10-year limited warranty), and geotextile placement. The contractor must develop a traffic control plan, obtain necessary permits, and provide submittals including schedule of values, construction schedule, and material certificates. Work is limited to 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with no work on Federal holidays. The entire road may be closed for a single continuous period not to exceed 14 calendar days; otherwise, delays to traffic must be limited to 15 minutes per passage.
