The work includes roadway items such as clearing and grubbing, unclassified excavation, borrow, topsoil salvage, temporary silt fence and dike, inlet sediment filter, sodding, mulching, mowing, aggregate base, stabilized subgrade, tack coat, superpave asphalt, concrete pavement, temporary earth retainage, handrailing, decorative handrailing, concrete, retaining walls, graffiti treatment, MSE retaining wall, riprap, filter fabric, curb and gutter, tactile warning device, pipe culverts, underdrains, bedding material, trench excavation, water valve riser adjustment, HDPE pipe, removal of structures and pavement, sawing pavement, and removable bollard. Bridge 'A' base bid includes substructure excavation, granular backfill, approach slab, concrete parapet, decorative handrailing, structural steel, bearing assemblies, concrete classes AA and A, graffiti treatment, MSE retaining wall, epoxy coated reinforcing steel, water repellent, drilled shafts, crosshole sonic logging, elastomeric coating, sealed expansion joints, sealer crack preparation, and sealer resin. Add Alternate No. 1 includes an aesthetic arch. Traffic signing and striping includes structural concrete, sign removal and reset, sheet aluminum signs, pipe posts, and traffic stripes. Traffic control includes construction signs, barricades, warning lights, and drums. Lighting includes enhancement lighting (complete). Staking includes construction staking Level II. Construction includes a field office and mobilization.
