The mechanical scope includes the cleaning of existing HVAC ductwork throughout the designated areas of the facility. Installation of new duct access panels at strategic locations within the duct distribution system to provide permanent access for cleaning, inspection, and future maintenance. Following the installation of the access panels, the ductwork and coils shall be thoroughly cleaned in accordance with applicable industry standards, and all access openings shall be properly sealed upon completion. Exterior air sealing of the existing ductwork at leakage areas. Miscellaneous controls improvements at the designated areas. The HVAC air systems have been tested by Hood TAB; a copy of the report will be provided for bidder review. Deficiencies noted in their report and noted on the bid drawings are to be addressed.
