The contractor shall provide labor, equipment, materials, and supplies to perform janitorial and other grounds maintenance at the Interstate Rest Area facilities on I-65 in Bullitt County in District Five for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet Department of Highways. Work includes daily custodial maintenance of the rest area building (lobby, restrooms, storage, service, tourism, and vending areas), grounds and parking areas (litter pickup, trash disposal, cleaning picnic tables and fixtures, weeding, leaf removal, snow and ice removal), and minor mechanical and structural repairs. The contractor must also provide supplemental temporary staffing upon request. Minimum staffing is 10 employees per 24-hour day across three shifts.
