The awarded vendor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, cleaning supplies, and equipment necessary for janitorial services at the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, Department of Highways – District 7, 800 Newtown Ct., Lexington, KY 40511. The main office building is 34,000 sq. ft., two-story, with 66.6% tile and 33.3% carpet, 261 windows, restrooms, breakroom, and common areas. Services include daily sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, trash removal, restroom cleaning; weekly dusting, window cleaning, spray buffing; monthly deep cleaning; quarterly light fixture cleaning; semi-annual carpet extraction cleaning and floor stripping/sealing/waxing; annual window washing, blind washing, light fixture washing, wall washing, and floor top scrub and wax. Cleaning shall be performed five nights per week, Monday through Friday, outside normal business hours. The contractor must provide two employees nightly with a minimum of 2.5 hours each.
