The Owner will receive sealed bids from Contractors at the Georgia Southern University, Facilities Administration Building (No. 450), 3769 Old Register Road, Statesboro, Georgia 30458. Bids must be physically on the table in the Bid Room by 2:00 PM EST, at the time legally prevailing in Atlanta, Georgia, on September 11, 2026, for the construction of PROJECT NO. J-428, Primary Electrical Distribution, located in EAST GEORGIA STATE COLLEGE, SWAINSBORO, GEORGIA. At the time and place noted above, the bids will be publicly opened and announced.
The work includes primary electrical distribution upgrades, involving new 25kV work, demolition of existing utility transformer pad, site restoration, and related electrical and civil work as shown in the drawings (Civil Drawings C010–C501 and Electrical Drawings G0.01–E301). Alternates include deletion of new 25kV pad-mounted transformers and associated work (Alternate No. 1) and deletion of demolition and site restoration (Alternate No. 2).
