The lease covers approximately 30.20 acres of land at Moraine Hills State Park in McHenry County, Illinois, for agricultural purposes from 2027 through 2031/2032. The lessee is responsible for providing all labor, machinery, tools, seed, fertilizer, equipment and insurance needed to conduct the farming operation in accordance with lease requirements and timelines, following conservation agriculture practices intended to improve soil health, minimize erosion, improve water quality and benefit wildlife habitat.
