The contractor shall perform the required specified tasks and all implied tasks required by the Statement of Work. Services required shall be performed during a 12-month performance period. Please see the attachments to this announcement for the solicitation and supporting documents.

The contractor shall supply all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to overhaul, clean, inspect, adjust, and perform annual preventative maintenance on ten (10) boilers located in the mechanical spaces of buildings 1, 2, 4, 15, 16, 24, 49, and 55, including boiler flue cleaning, at the United States Coast Guard Base in Alameda, CA 94501. Tasks include disassembling, cleaning, inspecting, reassembling, testing, and adjusting boilers; opening waterside covers and inspecting tubes; cleaning fire tube risers; replacing igniter/electrode; inspecting low water cutoff float and sight glass; testing all safeties/interlocks; and providing a written report for each boiler detailing conditions found and suggested repairs.
