Before you haul waste tires in Louisiana, the Department of Environmental Quality requires a financial-guarantee surety bond — a minimum of $10,000 — filed with your transporter notification. Pricing is 2% of the bond amount, $100 minimum — your exact price appears at the application, which collects no credit information.

No underwriting queue for the standard waste tire bond — enter your amount, pay, and file with DEQ. Here is the whole thing:
Your business details, the bond amount (at least $10,000), and the effective date — that is the entire application.
The application collects no credit information, so most bonds issue as soon as you pay. Larger amounts may get a quick underwriting review.
Submit the executed bond with your waste tire transporter notification and proof of vehicle liability insurance. Wet-ink originals mailed whenever DEQ insists.
Louisiana regulates waste tires through the Department of Environmental Quality under the solid-waste rules in LAC Title 33, Part VII. Anyone who transports more than twenty waste tires within the state must notify DEQ and operate as a permitted transporter — and post a surety bond as a financial guarantee.
The bond runs in favor of DEQ and is a minimum of $10,000, on the language the regulations prescribe (LAC 33:VII, Appendix B). It backs the transporter's compliance with the standards in Section 10523 — proper manifesting, delivery only to authorized destinations, and the rest of the waste tire program.
If a transporter mishandles waste tires or otherwise violates the program and the state incurs a loss, it can recover against the bond — and if the surety pays, you repay the surety. Pricing starts from $100; your exact price is set at the application, which collects no credit information.
Submit the application with your bond amount (at least $10,000) — the executed bond is generated instantly, ready to file with DEQ.
