The U.S. Embassy in Mexico City through the Facility Management Office (FAC), requires a vendor that can supply a complete modular scaffolding system to support preventive maintenance (PM) activities at the Cooling Tower Area on the New Embassy Compound Facilities located at Mexico City. The system shall provide safe access for maintenance personnel and shall be suitable for exterior mechanical equipment areas.
The Government is not requiring an specific brand, manufacturer or proprietary system. Any proposed product shall meet or exceed the minimum technical, safety, dimensional and documentation requirements.
All components must be brand new and in serviceable condition, free from defects, corrosion, deformation, cracks, missing parts, or damage that could affect safe use.

Pursuant to FAR 4.1102(a) Offerors must be registered in SAM at the time an offer is submitted in order to comply with the annual representations and certifications requirements. Failure to be registered at the time of proposal submission shall deem the offeror’s proposal to be considered non-responsive to the solicitation requirements and no further consideration will be given. Therefore, you are encouraged to complete the registration process and have an active account in sam.gov prior to proposal submission.

The contractor shall furnish and deliver a complete modular multidirectional scaffolding system, or equivalent, suitable for use in an exterior mechanical equipment area. The system shall have an approximate section/module configuration of 0.8-1.1 meters wide by 1.80 meters long, a total required working length of approximately 20 meters, and an approximate working height of 10 meters. It shall include internal stairs with hatch access, four working/support levels with metallic decking, perimeter guardrails, toe boards, intermediate rails, end rails, braces, connectors, pins, locking devices, adjustable base plates, and all other safety accessories. The system shall be suitable for exterior use with corrosion-resistant materials. The contractor shall provide a layout drawing, complete component list, manufacturer technical data, assembly instructions, load capacity information, and safety documentation. All components must be new and in serviceable condition.
