Project # 603-26-107 Design-Build to Convert A-412 Bathroom

The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools and equipment, and design-build services necessary for design and construction of converting A-412 into a bathroom. Work includes demolition, infection control, submittal process, supervision, dumpsters, job-site office equipment, safety and first aid-ICRA, final cleaning, punchlist/closeout, site work demolition, wood/plastics/composites, thermal and moisture protection, finishes (including schedule for finishes, non-structural metal framing, gypsum board, acoustical ceilings, resilient sheet flooring, resilient tile flooring, painting), accessories (signage, wall and door protection), conveying equipment, fire suppression (wet-pipe sprinkler systems), HVAC (common work results, general motor requirements, insulation, refrigerant piping, decentralized VRF equipment), electrical (requirements, low-voltage conductors, grounding, raceways, panelboards, wiring devices, enclosed switches), communications (requirements, grounding, raceways), and electronic safety and security (fire detection and alarm). The contractor shall also comply with general requirements including safety, security, operations and storage areas, alterations, disposal and retention, protection of existing vegetation, restoration, as-built drawings, warranty management, use of roadways, temporary toilets, availability and use of utility services, tests, instructions, government-furnished property, relocated equipment/items, storage space, construction sign, safety sign, photographic documentation, final elevation digital images, historic preservation, and VA KAHUA PMIS.
