Contractor shall sign clause 852.219-75 VA NOTICE OF
LIMITATIONS ON SUBCONTRACTING-CERTIFICATE OF COMPLIANCE
FOR SERVICES AND CONSTRUCTION (JAN 2023) (DEVIATION) pg 30.
The contractor shall perform fire sprinkler and standpipe system repairs across multiple buildings and floors at the VA San Diego Healthcare System, including replacing hundreds of 50-year-old and 20-year-old sprinkler heads, repairing corroded or missing sprinklers, replacing leaking valves, and addressing cold solder situations. Work includes replacing sprinkler heads in various areas such as patient rooms, hallways, offices, and refrigerators, as well as repairing standpipe hose valves and main drain valves. The contractor must comply with all applicable VA safety and fire regulations, obtain necessary licenses, and take precautions to protect persons and property. Work in asbestos-containing areas requires specific certifications.
