The work includes providing all necessary labor, parts, materials, and equipment for diving services related to underwater maintenance, investigations, and/or repairs to underwater structures, sluice gates, valves, pipes, concrete, tanks, silt/turbidity curtains, and aqueducts at multiple DEP facilities. Underwater repairs may include installation of piping or new equipment, underwater cutting, patching, cement work or grouting of joints, leaks, cracks, and fissures, and removal of organic growth. Underwater video recording may also be required. Preventive maintenance includes annual inspection and removal of bryozoan growth at Delaware Aqueduct Shaft 18 and annual inspection and removal of organic material including zebra mussel growth at Croton Lake Gate House and associated facilities.
