NOAA/USCG Cutter STORIS Homeporting Project

The project consists of the comprehensive redevelopment of waterfront, marine structural, utility, dredging, and associated shore-side facilities required to support the long-term homeporting, maintenance, logistics, and mission readiness of USCGC STORIS and other Coast Guard cutter classes operating in the Alaskan Region. Work includes design, engineering, and permitting support; demolition and upland site civil work (trenching, bedding, backfill); construction of waterfront facilities including a fixed wharf, heavy-duty floating pier, trestle, and gangway; on-site integrated utility systems (conductors, cabling, piping, transformers, switchgear, backup generators, potable water, sanitary sewer, marine fire protection, lighting); and off-site utility infrastructure and upgrades to deliver a net increase of 6,400 AMPs of electrical service capacity and required fire-flow water volumes. Optional work includes onsite building renovations and a covered small boat mooring/floating pier.
