Food Waste Disposal

The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, vehicles, supervision, and other items and services necessary to provide food waste collection services at Hanscom AFB, Massachusetts. The contractor shall empty food waste containers at least twice weekly at three locations (DECA/Commissary, AAFES, MIT/LL), establish initial vehicle routes and collection schedules upon contract award, and ensure no litter, waste, or recyclable material is on the ground within a 10-foot radius of the container after service. The contractor must also perform unscheduled pickups, special events collections, and additional pickups as requested, maintain containers and collection areas, weigh vehicles on state-certified scales, and dispose of all food waste at a permitted off-base disposal site. The contractor shall provide monthly reports including weight tickets and sales receipts.
