This informal bid solicitation is being conducted pursuant to Title 31 Section 239(a)(4) of the Virgin Islands Code. The Government reserves the right to cancel this informal bid solicitation. All quotes must be submitted via GVIBuy for consideration.
The selected Hearing Officer shall preside over administrative hearings involving denial, suspension, or revocation of Licenses/Permits/Medical Cards; disputes involving background checks and disqualifying offenses; enforcement actions and penalties pursuant to the VI Code Title 19 Chapter 34A; and appeals filed pursuant to the VI Code Title 19 Chapter 34A. The officer must ensure compliance with the VI Code Title 19 Chapter 34A and the OCR's governing laws and regulations, manage pre-hearing processes including scheduling, motions, and evidence submissions, prepare and issue written findings of fact, conclusions of law, and recommended or final decisions, and maintain a complete and accurate record of each proceeding.
