DESIGN-BUILD FOR ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGER INSTALLATION FOR POE BUILDING

The City of Riverside (“City”) is seeking proposals from qualified and experienced firms to provide turnkey design, permitting, procurement, installation, testing, and commissioning services for the installation of Electric Vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure at City-owned facilities. The project includes the deployment of fifteen (15) Level 2 Ford EV charging stations at the City’s POE building located at 3252 9th Street, Riverside, California 92507, to support the changing needs of City field service vehicles. The selected Company (“Design-Build Contractor” or “Proposer”) will be responsible for delivering a complete end-to-end solution, including but not limited to site assessment, surveying, geotechnical services electrical system evaluation, load calculations, utility coordination, preparation of construction and electrical drawings, permitting, equipment and material procurement, installation of Electric vehicle chargers and associated electrical infrastructure, testing, pre-conditioning, commissioning, and final project closeout services as described in Exhibit A – Scope of Services and General Requirements, and supportive documentation, attached hereto and incorporated herein.

The City intends to award this project to one (1) Company that demonstrates the technical expertise, qualifications, and capacity to deliver a fully functional, code-compliant EV charging system in accordance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations, including the National Electric Code, utility requirements, and City standards. The objective of this project is to provide a safe, reliable, scalable, and future-ready EV charging solution that supports the City’s fleet electrification goals, operational efficiency, and sustainability initiatives
