The contractor shall engage staff, students, and the community to develop a candidate profile; demonstrate a candidate identification strategy resulting in a diverse pool of qualified candidates; advise the Board on compensation; solicit applications from candidates able to serve in Oregon; develop hiring procedures in coordination with Human Resources; screen and evaluate candidates through recruitment materials, outreach recruiting, background information collection, prescreening, and reference checks; assist with logistics of finalist interviews including potential community visits and forums; and assist in contract negotiations with the selected candidate. The contractor shall maintain candidate information in confidence to the fullest extent permitted by Oregon law and advise the Board regarding confidentiality, public records, public meetings, and candidate disclosure issues.
