OHA is seeking proposals for the provision of culturally specific suicide prevention programming and services with the intent to address emerging health disparities in suicide for youth in Communities of Focus in Oregon.
Pre-Bid Conference: A Pre-Proposal conference will be held Monday October 12, 2026, 9 A.M. An Applicantâ??s participation in this conference is highly encouraged but not mandatory.
Proposers must develop, sustain, and/or implement a culturally specific suicide prevention program or services for youth (ages 24 and younger) and/or their families that aligns with the Oregon Suicide Prevention Framework. Required activities include attending at least six monthly learning communities, developing an evaluation plan in collaboration with the Oregon Healing Collective, and completing training in 'Be Sensitive, Be Brave for Suicide Prevention' and 'Be Sensitive, Be Brave for Mental Health.' Grantees must submit mid-term and final activity and expenditure reports. Disbursement of funds is 75% upon receipt of approved invoice and signed Grant Agreement, and 25% on or before June 30, 2027, upon receipt of approved invoice and final report.
