Transportation services for OREM during times of Disaster response. May include taxi, shuttle, non-emergency medical transport and other transportation services.
The contractor will provide transportation of people during disaster response, such as picking up clients from their homes, ODHS facilities, or similar locations, and transporting them to warming and cooling shelters, congregate shelters, non-congregate shelter settings such as hotels or motels located throughout Oregon, or other locations as provided by ODHS. Services may include general taxi, shuttle, or bus transportation; ride share or ride-hailing services; transportation brokerages; NEMT providers; and other types of transportation. Needs of individuals may include those with no or limited access, functional or medical needs, people with access and functional needs requiring an accessible vehicle, and people with significant needs needing non-emergency medical support. Clients may also include individuals experiencing houselessness who may require assistance with their belongings, or individuals with support service animals.
