The Project includes the following work:
Removal and replacement of existing lead service lines from the existing corporation valve on the water main to the building interior plumbing at multiple addresses within the City. The Contractor to install a new curb box one (1) foot inside the property line. The interior plumbing connection and any rerouting must be completed by a plumber licensed to do work within the City of Amsterdam or qualified to obtain a Class B permit. One (1) plumbing permit will be issued for the project, at no cost, and the requirements for inspections by the Plumbing Inspector apply. The new services may be copper, DR-11 HDPE, or other NSF approved materials. The project is grant funded and has a 30% MWBE utilization goal.
