This scope of work includes the purchasing and replacement of two (2) Steam to Hot Water Domestic Hot Water (DHW) steam coils serving North Wing Lab within Building 39 at Nathan Kline Institute. In addition, the FACILITY would like to replace all steam traps associated with this system along with one (1) steam valve actuator, and to add insulation to exposed piping. The VENDOR will be responsible for tasks including purchasing appropriately sized steam coils, steam traps, and steam valve actuator; isolating and performing LOTO procedures; removing and replacing steam traps and actuator; disassembling steam inlet piping; removing existing coils; cleaning and inspecting shells; installing new coils and gaskets; re-piping steam lines; reenergizing electrical components; coordinating startup and testing; adding/replacing insulation; providing a twelve (12) month warranty; and providing separate line items for labor and materials.
