The contractor will be responsible for operating and maintaining the enhanced motor vehicle inspection and maintenance system, including conducting emission and mechanical inspections, managing the Next Generation Vehicle Information Database (NGVID), providing NGWorkstation user manuals, and ensuring data security and transmission. The contractor must also submit a Closeout and Data Transition Plan within 18 months of the contract effective date and deliver a final version 365 calendar days prior to the contract end date, covering transfer of data, intellectual property, and program documentation.
