NOTICE TO PROSPECTIVE BIDDERS
The North Carolina Department of Transportation is requesting bids for the following project in
Division One:
MA00037 – Mobilization of Various Fully Operated Rental Equipment in Chowan, Hyde,
Martin, Tyrrell, and Washington Counties, Upon Request (ID/IQ) (Re-Advertisement)
WBS Element: GMR01.D03.4
The Date of Availability for this Contract will be the date the Purchase Order is issued.
The Completion Date for this Contract is January 31, 2028.
There is NO goal for participation by Disadvantaged Business Enterprises for this contract.
Any firm that wishes to bid as a prime contractor shall be prequalified as a Bidder or PO Prime

Bid Opening will be at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, November 4, 2026.

The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete assigned work orders. The Contractor must provide specific types of fully operated equipment including: (1) Compact Track Loader, (1) Dozer LGP Tracked, (1) Excavator (<20,000 lbs.), (1) Excavator (>38,000 lbs.), (1) Excavator (20,001–37,999 lbs.), (1) Grader (Minimum 12' Moldboard), (1) Loader (Minimum 3 CY Heaped GP Bucket), (1) Quad-Axle or Larger Dump Truck, (1) Tandem or Smaller Dump Truck, (1) Tri-Axle Dump Truck, (1) 4" Water Pump, and (1) 6" Water Pump. All equipment shall be provided in good operating condition, operated by properly trained and qualified personnel, and maintained in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations. The Contractor is responsible for all costs related to operation, maintenance, repair, fuel, oil, lubrication, insurance, operator wages, and incidental supplies, as well as transporting equipment to and from project sites. Payment for fully operated hourly equipment shall be made on an hourly basis with a minimum of four hours per work order.
