2026 SAP Road Striping Project
The Mitchell County Board of Commissioners is accepting sealed written bids from qualified contractors
for road striping services for the following 9 roads in Mitchell County: Gravel Hill Road from recently
paved Section to S.R. 112, Hatcher Hill Road from S.R. 93 to end of pavement, Delta Pine Road from
Jackson Dairy Road to recently paved section, Stage Coach road will receive two sets of rumble strips,
one on each side of Jerusalem Church Road, Research Road from S.R. 112 to the end of pavement, Mt.
Olive Road from Branchville Road to S.R. 112, Harmony Road from Pelham City Limits to Colquitt
County Line, Old Ga. 3/Dixie Hwy from Pelham City Limits to Meigs City Limits, and Kierce Road from
Pelham City Limits to County Line Road. In general, these roads are to be restriped with either high build
or thermoplastic paint as listed in the Bid Form. Striping is to match the existing striping unless otherwise
noted. Other items included are traffic control, rumble strips, stop bars, and other misc. items pertaining
to the project. See attached Bid Form for detailed quantities. Maps (see Exhibit A), specifications, bid
form, and other information are attached. Any required clipping of shoulders will be done by the County.
If you choose to submit a written bid on this project, your sealed bid must be marked “2026 SAP Road
Striping Project” and delivered to the Mitchell County Board of Commissioners Office located at 5201
S. US Hwy 19, Camilla, Georgia 31730, no later than 10:00 am on Thursday, August 6, 2026. All bids
will be opened and read aloud during a public bid opening at 10:00 am on Thursday, August 6, 2026,
in the Commission Meeting Room at 5201 S. US Hwy 19, Camilla, Georgia 31
The contractor must restripe nine specified roads using high build or thermoplastic paint as listed on the bid form, matching existing striping unless otherwise noted. Work includes traffic control, rumble strips, stop bars, raised pavement markers, and other miscellaneous items. Shoulder clipping will be performed by the County. All work must conform to Georgia Department of Transportation Standard Specifications, MUTCD, and the contractor must be GDOT certified.
