ADDENDUM NO. 1
TO THE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS FOR
DEMOREST CITY HALL PARKING LOT

Addendum Issue Date: July 20, 2026
This Addendum forms a part of the Contract Documents for the above-referenced Project
and modifies the original Advertisement for Bids and Instructions to Bidders issued for this
Project. All Bidders are required to acknowledge receipt of this Addendum on the Bid
Form. Except as modified herein, all other terms, conditions, plans, and specifications of
the Contract Documents remain unchanged and in full force and effect.
DESCRIPTION OF CHANGE
The original Advertisement for Bids identified the bid due date as falling on a Sunday, which
was issued in error. This Addendum corrects that date.
Item 1 – Bid Due Date and Time
The bid due date and time set forth in Section 00030 (Advertisement for Bids) and Section
00100 (Instructions to Bidders) is hereby revised as follows:
Original (incorrect) bid due date: Sunday, August 23, 2026
Revised bid due date: Monday, August 24, 2026
Bid due time: 11 am
Bids shall be received at Demorest City Hall, 250 Alabama Street, Demorest, Georgia
30535, until the revised date and time stated above. Bids received after that time will not
be considered. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at that time and location.
ACKNOWLEDGMENT
Bidders shall acknowledge receipt of this Addendum No. 1 on the Bid Form (Section
00300) in the space provided. Failure to acknowledge receipt of this Addendum may result
in the bid being considered non-responsive.

The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals necessary to complete the work within 120 consecutive calendar days from the date of a written Notice to Proceed.
