This is an invitation to submit a bid to supply the City of Garden City (City) with construction and/or services as indicated herein. Sealed bids will be received at City Hall at 100 Central Avenue, Garden City, Georgia 31405 up to 11:00 AM local time, August 13, 2026, at which time they will be opened and publicly read. City reserves the right to reject all bids that are non-responsive or not responsible.
Instructions for preparation and submission of a bid are contained in this Invitation To Bid package. Please note that specific forms for submission of a bid are required. Bids must be typed or printed in ink.
A Pre-bid Conference is scheduled at 100 Central Avenue, Garden City, Georgia 31405 at 11:00 AM local time, July 30, 2026.
Any changes to the conditions and specifications must be in the form of a written addendum to be valid; therefore, the Project Manager will issue a written addendum to document each approved change. Generally, when addenda are required, the bid opening date will be changed.

CONTRACTOR AFFIDAVIT under O.C.G.A. § 13-10-91(B)(1)
By executing this affidavit, the undersigned contractor verifies its compliance with O.C.G.A. §
13-10-91, stating affirmatively that the individual, firm or corporation which is engaged in the
physical performance of services on behalf of The City of Garden City has registered with, is
authorized to use and uses the federal work authorization program commonly known as E-
Verify, or any subsequent replacement program, in accordance with the applicable provisions
and deadlines established in O.C.G.A. § 13-10-9
The work consists of furnishing all materials, labor, and equipment for resurfacing a portion of Chatham Parkway, roadway striping of the entire roadway, and all other costs associated with the project. The work must comply with GDOT Standard Specifications – 2024 Edition. A third-party testing company must be contracted by the successful bidder, and all reports submitted to the City upon completion. Any work failing to meet GDOT standards must be replaced at the contractor's expense. The contract is a Unit Price contract. Work shall begin within 10 days after receipt of Notice to Proceed and be completed within 60 calendar days after that ten-day period.
