The City of Eastman is requesting quotations from licensed and qualified contrac-
tors to renovate the public restrooms at City Hall to bring them into compliance with
current ADA accessibility requirements and applicable building codes.
This project will include demolition, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, flooring, paint-
ing, and accessibility improvements as outlined in the bid packet. The contractor
will provide all labor, materials, equipment, permits, supervision, and incidentals
necessary to complete the project in a professional manner.
The contractor shall:
• Visit project site and verify all measurements and field dimensions prior
to bidding.
• Comply with all applicable local, state, and federal codes including the
current ADA Standards for Accessible Design.
• Maintain a clean and safe worksite including protecting existing finishes,
adjacent occupied areas, and removing all debris generated by the project.
• Coordinate all work to minimize disruption to City Hall operations.
• Provide total cost, and estimated start and completion dates.
• Also provide proof of insurance, business license, and references of three
other ADA renovation projects.

Bids will be received by the City of Eastman at the City Hall until Wednesday,
August 12, 2026, at 2:00 PM, and will be publicly opened and recorded at that
time. Bids may be mailed to the City of Eastman, P.O. Drawer 40, Eastman,
Georgia 31023 or delivered to the City Hall at 333 College Street.
