Bartow County (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project:
Bartow County – Cassville-White Rd Ph II P.I. NO. 0015145
Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the Bartow County Commissioner’s Office
located at 135 West Cherokee Avenue, Cartersville, GA 30120, Suite 251 until August 28th, 3:00 P.M
at local time. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.
The Project includes the following Work:
The project consists of the widening of the existing two-lane Cass-White Rd to a four-lane divided
highway with a 24-foot-wide concrete raised median. The project begins just east of the I-75 / Cass-
White Rd interchange and extends just east of the Great Valley Parkway / Cass-White Rd
intersection which will be converted into a roundabout. The project also consists of bike lanes and
sidewalks. The project has a total length of 1.594 miles.

Performance and Payment Bonds are required per Georgia Department of Transportation Section 103.05.
Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 5 percent of the total bid amount.
