Polk County Government is soliciting bids for the purchase of 30 Scott Air-Pak X3 Pros and 30 Scott AV 3000 HT size medium masks. Cylinders are not part of this bid process.

Polk County Government reserves the right to a) reject any or all proposals or to make no award, b) require
modifications to initial proposals, or c) to make partial or multiple awards. The County further reserves the right
to excuse technical defects in a proposal and/or informalities when, in its sole discretion, such excuse is in the
best interest of the County.

GENERAL CONDITIONS AND CLAUSES
1 CHANGES: No change will be made to this RFB except by written modification by the County.
The contractor must supply 30 Scott Air-Pak X3 Pro self-contained breathing apparatuses and 30 Scott AV 3000 HT size medium masks meeting detailed specifications: NIOSH 42 CFR Part 84 approval, NFPA 1970 (2025 Edition) certification, UL 913 intrinsic safety, and specific component requirements for facepiece, regulator, pressure reducer, end-of-service-time indicator, back frame and harness, RIC/UAC, PASS with firefighter locator, and optional UEBSS. The SCBA must carry a lifetime warranty for the original purchaser covering defects in materials and workmanship.
