The improvements consist of furnishing all labor and materials for patching hot-mix and concrete pavement and placement of thin asphalt overlays as needed, along with other incidental construction in accordance with the location, notes and details shown on the plans, and as directed by the Engineer. Work will be issued by use of work orders. The contract includes items such as undercut excavation, removal of pavement and curb, aggregate base course, various types of Superpave asphalt, tack coat, spall repair, concrete curb and sidewalk, pedestrian connections, traffic control items, and portable changeable message signs.
