Blueprint Milford / Summit Area Integrated Solutions This project will look at an integrated solution for Consent Order requirements of the City's Wet Weather. As an integral part of the City's updated plan, this project is included within the Blueprint Columbus Clintonville 3 area with a goal to reduce the amount of infiltration and inflow (I/I) into the sanitary sewer system and number of sanitary sewer overflows (SSOs) at designed sewer relief (DSR) points. The Milford-Summit project area is bound by Indianola Avenue (west), Glen Echo Creek (south), North Broadway Avenue (north), and RR tracks (east). Due to the sequencing of the projects, this project focuses on green infrastructure alternatives because the green infrastructure needs to be operational prior to roof drain redirection or sump pump installation. Mainline sewer lining and sump pump installation will be handled under a separate contract. This contract evaluates green infrastructure alternatives and evaluates private sanitary and storm laterals that drain sewage and stormwater from homes. This project is currently at the 30% design level.
