Fire Station 9 RTU Replacement

The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, and equipment to remove the existing RTU and install a new packaged rooftop air-conditioning unit (RTU) at Fire Station 9. The scope includes installing a new backup cooling system for the command center and demolishing the old backup cooling system. The work also includes installing new modified bitumen roofing membrane and metal copings. The contractor must comply with the City Standard Specifications for Building & Structure Construction 4.1 and the MEP Specifications. The contractor shall also upgrade the VAV controls, though this was later removed from the scope via Addendum #3. The contractor is responsible for all necessary piping, ductwork, electrical connections, and controls to make the system fully operational.
