The lessee will farm 814.22 acres at Double "T" SFWA – Rice Lake under a five-year crop rotation of corn (with cover crop) and soybeans as detailed in Attachment B. The lessee must provide all labor, machinery, seed, fertilizer, equipment and insurance, follow an approved cropping plan, plant cover crops on designated corn fields, leave 5% of the corn crop unharvested until March 1, control weeds and pests with prior approval, document all chemical and fertilizer applications, maintain soil fertility to minimum test levels, and pay leasehold taxes. The lessee is prohibited from using neonicotinoid-treated soybean seed, Dicamba, and bio-solids; from performing fall tillage unless requested; and from subleasing or assigning the lease without prior written approval.
