EMERGENCY NOTICE IDVA Illinois Warrior Assistance Program Services

The vendor will provide a toll-free resource and referral line with access to IWAP consultants for telephonic assistance, care coordination, counseling, psychotherapy, and where appropriate, facilitate prescription coverage for behavioral health medications for eligible veterans and their family members. The program focuses on veterans returning from Iraq and Afghanistan and their families, but also assists veterans of other conflicts. The vendor must maintain the DVA website and call center created in 2023, and provide a 24/7/365 toll-free resource and referral line with access to behavioral health clinicians. The vendor must defer emergency and imminent suicide situations to the National Suicide Hotline immediately.
