The Defense Logistics Agency is planning to issue a solicitation for a national requirements contract for Febuxostat Tablets. Procurement details follow.
Febuxostat Tablets: 40 MG and 80 MG Tablets in 30 count bottles. This will be an unrestricted and fully competitive acquisition. The contract will be a firm-fixed price, requirements type contract with a one-year base and four one-year options. A contract resulting from this solicitation will establish a national supply source, in accordance with FAR 52.216-21 (Requirements), to provide the items listed in the schedule for purchase by Department of Defense, Department of Veterans Affairs, Bureau of Prisons, and Indian Health Service customers through the DLA and VA prime vendor programs. The annual usage estimates will be provided in the Schedule of Supplies section of the solicitation. This is a commercial item and will be solicited using FAR part 12. All sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency.
A copy of the solicitation will be posted to the DLA Bid Board System (DIBBS) at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil and SAM.gov at https://sam.gov. Interested parties are further advised to set up automated notifications of pre-solicitation or solicitation changes through this website. The current projected solicitation date is June of 2026. DLA reserves the right to issue the solicitation before or after the projected solicitation date.
