N065: Durable Medical Equipment (DME) services - VISN 4 West Medical Centers

The contractor shall provide all supplies, materials, equipment, transportation, labor, supervision, patient education, safety management, and infection control necessary to deliver, install, set up, instruct in use, repair, and pick up VA-owned Durable Medical Equipment (DME) for Veteran beneficiaries in the VISN-04 West catchment areas (Altoona, Butler, Erie, Pittsburgh). Services are required 24/7/365, including Federal holidays. The contractor must maintain business hours 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time Monday through Friday, provide emergency services within 4 hours of notification, and have a well-established communication system. The contractor must provide secure, climate-controlled storage with separate clean/dirty zones, maintain bi-weekly inventory of Government-furnished property, submit monthly timeliness reports, and comply with Joint Commission standards, VA information security, HIPAA, and all applicable training requirements. The contract is a Firm-Fixed-Price IDIQ with five ordering periods from 10/21/2026 to 10/20/2031.
