Contractors are reminded to Review Section L and M to make sure when they submit that they are submitting the correct information and documentation as required.
The contractor shall correct deficiencies of the Chancellorsville Battlefield Above-Ground Potable Water Tower, including: providing temporary potable water hook-ups; cleaning and paint preparation of interior and exterior surfaces; applying interior and exterior paint/coating systems; disinfection and sample testing; removing and installing a new 4-inch drain valve; installing new exterior and interior tower ladders, safety cable systems, handrails, and toe boards; replacing the roof vent; installing two 30-inch shell manways; installing a new potable water mixing system; installing new high/low level switches and alarm; installing confined space and fall protection signs; and installing two government-provided Starlink apparatus. Optional items include repairing cracks/spalling concrete, tightening bolts/nuts and welding anchors, adjusting windage rods, installing a cathodic protection system, and installing a mechanical float and tape/cable liquid level indicator.
