GENERAL INFORMATION:
This solicitation is a Request for Quote (RFQ) Solicitation issued on Standard Form (SF) 1449. Award of this contract will be made according to FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services. All references to ¿proposal¿ in this solicitation shall be understood to mean ¿quotation.¿ Quotations shall be evaluated in an impartial manner and consideration given to those with the highest perceived value to the government.

The contract awarded as a result of this solicitation will be a firm-fixed price commercial contract/award.

The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to provide exterior painting at WICL. The work includes preparation, sanding, scraping, spot priming bare wood, caulking joints and gaps, caulking/glazing, priming, painting, and cleanup of approximately 2000 ft2 pine siding, 26 (12-lite over 1-lite) windows, 1 (3-lite) transom, 1 fixed 4-panel window, 3 exterior doors, 1x6 trim painted in contrasting color, and 1 ventilation access dormer. The contractor must remove existing caulking and/or glazing and replace with new glazing/caulking on all exterior windows and exterior doors. Siding may be sprayed and back rolled only if using HEA (High Efficiency Airless) spray tips. All trim paint shall be applied by brush or combined with trim rollers. The period of performance is 60 calendar days after contract award.
