The contractor shall provide brand name or equal patient ceiling lifts for support and transfer that meet or exceed the physical, functional, and performance characteristics specified. The work includes providing all labor, tools, materials, transportation, equipment, parts, supervision, and personnel to install four (4) patient lifts in the new Cancer Center at Durham VAMC. The contractor must comply with Patient Safety Alert AL14-07, provide engineer-stamped drawings, and provide training and manuals to the end user. Installation must not interfere with existing sprinkler heads, lights, HVAC grills, or other permanent structures.
