Old Sawmill Road Culvert Repairs

The work includes saw cutting and removing asphalt pavement to expose the failed storm drain pipe, removing and disposing of concrete curbing and flume, excavating to expose the failed reinforced concrete pipe (RCP) and inspecting adjacent pipe and structures, removing and disposing of damaged RCP and unsuitable soils, filling subsurface voids with compacted select fill, installing new 18-inch RCP class IV or V with gasketed joints and bedding, compacting backfill in 6-inch lifts to 95% maximum dry density, retaining existing drainage structures to the maximum extent possible, restoring pavement section and curbing to match existing conditions, and disposing of all materials off base.
