SLOAN INTRUSION DETECTION SYSTEM

The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, and supervision to install a comprehensive intrusion detection system at the Sloan Canyon NCA Visitor Contact Station. Required tasks include: installing wireless surface-mounted sensors at every exterior door and on the door between the visitor and employee areas; installing a sensor on the exterior mechanical door; providing continuous motion sensor coverage for the exhibit and employee workspace areas; installing a duress alarm button at the VCS information desk; installing an intrusion keypad; and ensuring the system provides real-time detection and alerting, detailed intrusion and functionality reporting, and compliance with federal security standards. The contractor must also provide a customized plan, detailed cost breakdowns, equipment specifications, one year of monitoring and support with options for four additional years, and initial staff training. Installation must be completed within a 5-day period within 45 calendar days of plan approval, and all work is to be warrantied for one year from written acceptance.
