Oregon/Washington Terrestrial Assessment, Inventor

The contractor shall collect terrestrial AIM data at 198 targeted and randomly distributed points on BLM-administered lands throughout Oregon and Washington. Data collection follows the Monitoring Manual for Grassland, Shrubland, and Savanna Ecosystems: 2nd Edition, including core methods (plot characterization, line-point intercept, vegetation height, gap intercept, soil aggregate stability, plot-level species inventory) and contingent methods (sagebrush shape, second herbaceous height measurement, plant abundance). Supplemental methods may be requested. The contractor must provide all personnel, equipment (including 4-wheel drive vehicles, electronic data capture tablets, GPS, compass, and field gear), and coordinate with BLM field offices. Data is collected between April 20 and September 30, submitted via Survey123, and a project implementation report is due by the end of the field season. An optional task allows for up to 50 additional data points.
